Our company’s specialists designed and implemented a project for the reconstruction of a concrete mixing unit (CMU) with a complete replacement of all weighing dispensers and actuators, and also introduced an automated control system (ACS) with the ability to manually and automatically control the line.
The purpose of the reconstruction is to replace worn-out components and actuators, increase the accuracy of component dosing, and control the amount of product in the production cycle. It is possible to control the number of cycles and the total mass of the product for any selected period of time.
In normal mode, the entire system operates fully automatically. The operator launches the dosing program on a personal computer and, having selected the required application received for work, starts the cycle. The dosing control program is clear, intuitive, and therefore easy to use and at the same time extremely reliable. It minimizes operator errors when dispensing components. The program for a personal computer has a graphical interface. The information displayed on the monitor screen reflects the process of dosing the components of the concrete mixture. The program interface is designed in a non-tiring color scheme of the user’s monitor screen, is intuitive and easy to use. The program provides:
The program implements the ability to correct the water supply during the production of the mixture. This is necessary to obtain high-quality concrete in the presence of sand with high humidity. The operator makes the first batch and, based on the results after mixing, has the opportunity to adjust the water supply within the specified limits.
Amanual control panel is used as a backup source for controlling the dosing process.It is necessary to control the process of dosing and preparing the concrete mixture in manual mode (without a computer). Its panel contains buttons, switches and indicator lights. Light indicators indicate the opening of gates and valves, the operation of feeders and mixers. Switches and buttons are designed to control the loading of weighing dispensers and the activation of feeders and mixer.
The manual control panel is equipped with weight controllers with digital indicators, according to the readings of which the operator doses the components for the concrete mixture in accordance with the recipe.
The control is designed in such a way as to completely eliminate the possibility of unloading components through the dispenser without fixation and without accounting.
